Thursday, December 13, 2007...Greene County... Bill and Fred drove down to Greene by themselves and the RV headed directly to The City Club - a partially renovated warehouse where the Rotary meets. We picked up the key and started to set up on the warehouse side when the owner's brother came in and took us into the back to a very nice room with it's own outside entrance. We set-up and guests started to arrive. We'd estimated properly and both parties were again represented in the room. Democrat Paul continues to follow us and take his video. He even stayed to capture me as I invited guests to take home brochures, bumper stickers or make a contribution to the campaign. We also closed by singing God Bless America. Locals had some mental health issues they wanted to discuss with Fred that impacts their community so he stayed to learn about their research. He told them that he's heard about this same matter in other counties and that the best way for him to help is for him to be elected as Governor. They clearly are supportive and we are appreciative. Thank you, Greene, for taking time out to get to know Fred Smith.
